Work in the Community
During the past 23 years, Bredenbeck's has donated baked goods to over 300 worthwhile organizations such as public and private schools, scouts, churches, hospitals, play ground community workers, day care centers and numerous other fundraisers.   The local community has been very supportive of Bredenbeck's and we are happy to what we can to assist in worthwhile causes.

April 2003
Chestnut Hill Community Association issued the 2003 Distinguished Service Award to Karen Boyd for outstanding service to Chestnut Hill.   "Karen has always provided her help and her donations to the Children's Concerts, the blood drive and to many other activities too numerous to mention.   She has worked through the years to show the people outside our community what a wonderful place Chestnut Hill is to live and work."

April 2005
City of Hope/Let them Eat Cake Wedding Cake Competition. City of Hope National Medical and Cancer Center has been recognized as a unique and valuable national health resource. The "Let them Eat Cake" event brings brides and culinary experts together to support breast cancer research and treatment. All participants and attendees make a contribution that goes to the City of Hope. In April 2005, Bredenbeck's was chosen in the category of "Best Artistry" for our cake.
